Athletic trainer, Bill Burniston from Middle Creek High School is offering speed and agility training sessions for all age groups. His training camps will improve overall athletic performance and produce tremendous results – for any athlete in any sport! If you would like more information please click on the link above. Football equipment distribution will be on the following dates at Hatcher Grove Christian Academy.
July 24th, 10 AM – 2 PM and July 31st, 10 AM – 2 PM
Please note the times for your child’s division/age group.
Tiny Mite – 10:00 AM
Mitey Mite – 10:30 AM
Junior Pee Wee – 11:30 AM
Pee Wee – 12:30 PM
Junior Midget – 12:30 PM
Midget – 12:30 PM
Any player that can not make one of these equipment distribution dates will need to meet with their team equipment manager to set up a time to pick up their equipment during the first week of practice.
Cary Pop Warner will provide the following: Helmet, chin strap, mouth piece, shoulder pads, practice pants, game pants and practice jersey. Game jerseys will NOT be given out until the 3rd week of August.
There will be a mandatory parents meeting for all Cary Pop Warner participants on August 1st from 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the RBC Center. We will be distributing wristbands to all eligible players during that meeting. If you do not attend the meeting, your child will not be eligible for practice on August 2nd. This meeting is for all parents new and old to the Cary Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading program.
If you are interested in being an assistant coach, equipment manager or team parent please complete the coaches application and bring it to our next registration on May 22nd. The forms can also be downloaded from the web site. In addition to your coaches application, you will need to provide a copy of your driver’s license.
All paper work must be completed as soon as possible to allow proper time for background checks prior to the first day of practice on August 2nd.

Attending a football camp during the summer is a great way to get ready for the fall season. Many football camps have former college and pro players help instruct the kids on technique and form. Over the next few months, we’ll be highlighting some upcoming football camps that you may be interested in attending.

Cary Pop Warner is teaming up with RainedOut to provide free practice cancellation, rain outs, or event information via SMS text message.
It’s easy to join! Just follow these steps:
- Go to Cary Pop Warner’s page on RainedOut.com.
- Click on the “Sign Up Now for Mobile Alerts” link.
- Fill out the info and under the “Optional Groups” section, select “Cary Pop Warner”.
- Click agree to Terms of Service.
- Click “Create Account.”
You will receive an SMS text with a validation code that you will enter on the website to activate your service. You can also add your email to receive notifications at this point too if you like.
You must have a text messaging plan for your cell phone.
